Quinoa (pronounced keen-wah) is an ancient grain that has gained popularity in recent years. It’s a superfood that not only contains an impressive amount of protein, but it is one of the few grains that contains all nine essential amino acids.
Quinoa also provides a good source of fiber, iron, and several other important vitamins and minerals, plus it’s gluten free!
While there are so many ways you can include quinoa in your diet, one of the easiest, and my personal favorite, is to create delicious and healthy quinoa salads.
